Bobbi Brown Cosmetics!

I went to a Bobbi Brown Studio Event / Consultation this evening. Ha, there's a new lover in my life. I've purchased Bobbi Brown cosmetics before but I have a new found respect for it. The colors are absolutely delicious for all skin tones and there are skin care products for all skin types. It was a full education. You can also take classes at the Bobbi Brown Studio in Montclair, NJ. Yes, I did come home with a few items but didn't go crazy after all, I can always go back. (smile) Do you own any Bobbi Brown products? What's your favorite?    Are You Serious?

Recycled Gifts !?!

Ha, not nice at all and ugly if you're caught! Seriously if you don't have time to buy a gift, just send a card. I have experienced this and it's insulting. I'm talking recycled from the bag, the bow, down to the tissue paper...clearly it was taken from the bottom of the closet or some dark hole in the basement. No, no, no! When the packaging on the gift has been previously opened, the box has water damage and the jewelry is tarnished, just back away and throw the items out. Don't present that to a friend, especially one that's detailed oriented and in the fashion/retail business where presentation is key. Oh and the worst, never leave the name of the person, the gift was originally intended for, on the recycled gift. (Oh no, say it isn't so!) Now let's recap, if the merchandise is not in the original (perfect) condition of purchase, do not give that to someone else, and if you don't remember what it looked like originally, meaning jewelry in a box, then you've had it too long. Again, send a card.    Are You Serious?

The Style Channel ?!?

The Style Channel on Cablevision has no style! What happened to all the great programming? I use to be able to watch Fashion Week across the globe. Now all I see is Clean House. I have no issue with Clean House but to play it for 10 hours a day...at least that's what it seems like, is ridiculously pitiful! Yet, if you look at the official site: http://www.mystyle.com/ it looks like things are really happening! Ha, too bad that's not translated with the show selection. Oh wait, there are a couple of exceptions - Giuliana & Bill and Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane.    Are You Serious?
